The autumn was the most plentiful season of them all. During
the autumn the Tlingits gathered berries, and roots and dried/jarred
them up. They also dried seaweed and salmon and stored them away.
The animals they hunted such as Sitka black tailed deer and mountain
goat shown on the left was butchered up and smoked/dried and ate.
The birds that hunted were, ducks, geese, ptarmigan, and grouse.
The Tlingits also went out to the beach to gather octopus, abalone,
mussels, clams, and cockles.
