Table No. 9: Sources:

1In the absence of reliable sources, the statistics for the years ending in 1901 to 1911, have been garnered from many unofficial publications reporting current facts for public information and interest. Often, several statistics for a single yer were derived from separate sources and total results compounded from them. Thsi table represents the only compilation of the Nome Public School statistics for the early period between 1900 and 1917. Information entirely lacking is denoted by enclosures: / /. Not included are two night school teachers, 1901-1902, and 1905, paid at board expense.

2See Chart No.1, for graphical profile of enrollments for high school and grade school from 1900-1958.
